Energy East Cancelled... is that REALLY what Canada signed up for?

In Canada we have the freedom to choose, but we are not free from the consequences of those choices. In other words, you can't make an omelette without breaking eggs. Now that Energy East is cancelled, these are the consequences… Is this REALLY what Canada signed up for?
